An exclusive year round Italian cultivar of cherry peppers, our capperino peppers range from mildly - moderately hot and are perfect for Italian, Asian, European and many other culinary combinations. Capperino peppers are ideally suited for those who don’t quite fancy the heat that a jalapeño, a serrano or a habanero pepper possess. Coming in at 2500 - 5000 on the scoville scale, they are slightly milder than jalapeño and cayenne peppers. Ideal to pickle, stuff or dice up into your dishes while cooking them. Storage tip: Pickled capperino peppers can be kept for years if the jar is unopened, and for months in the fridge once opened.
